Trainual Wins 2019 Most Promising Startup Award

At the conclusion of the Venture Ready Accelerator Graduation Showcase pitch competition last week, Trainual was selected as the inaugural DesTechAZ 2019 Most Promising Startup.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., OCTOBER 21, 2019 -- Trainual, the leading modern training system for fast-growing companies, was awarded 2019 Most Promising Startup during the DesTechAZ event at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona last Thursday evening. As a participant of the Arizona Commerce Authority’s Venture Ready program, Chris Ronzio, Founder & CEO of Trainual, pitched a panel of VC judges during the program’s graduation showcase competition held at the event. The award was presented by Apple’s Steve Wozniak. 

Venture Ready is the ACA’s business mentorship program, preparing participants to provide value to potential investors as powerful, growing companies in Arizona. As one of the 10 Fall 2018 Arizona Innovation Challenge awardees last year, Trainual had the opportunity to participate in the mentorship program as part of the 2019 class. Throughout the year, Ronzio has worked closely with his mentor, Mike Tully, former CEO of AAA Arizona, through five panels focusing on intake, marketing, finance, dry run and a final graduation pitch which he presented on the DesTechAZ stage last week.
