The milestone follows a year of expansion for the company, including the launch of its Operations suite and its Playbook 2026 customer conference, which hosted 150 attendees.

Badge growth under stricter scoring

The 22-badge total reflects a change in G2's methodology. Badges are now awarded once per category rather than repeating the same recognition across multiple market segments. Under the previous scoring rules, Trainual's Summer 2026 results would have produced more than 70 badges. Under the current rules, the company's total rose to 22 from 15 in the equivalent 2025 campaign.

G2 evaluates products on two axes: customer satisfaction, drawn from verified reviews, and market presence, which reflects company footprint. Trainual held Leader status across the grids that map to how customers deploy the platform, including Corporate LMS, Knowledge Management, Sales Training & Onboarding, and Onboarding. The company either improved or held its position on every grid where it appears, with no category declining.

Company context

Trainual serves companies scaling past roughly 25 people, where operational knowledge that once lived with a founder or a small leadership team has to become documented and repeatable. The platform combines process documentation, onboarding and training, a searchable knowledge base, and the recently launched Operations suite, which covers meetings, goals, scorecards, action items, and async updates.

Company research conducted ahead of the Operations suite launch found that 57% of teams cited "one more tool" as the primary barrier to improving how they operate, while 49% named accountability as their top operational priority. The Operations suite was built to address both by keeping daily operations in the same system as the documentation and training they depend on.
