MAKE YOUR CASE
Template of the week: New Vendor / Tech Case Process

So you found a shiny new tool that could change everything β cough cough β but leadershipβs not exactly swiping the company card on intuition alone. You need a clear, strategic case that proves the value before the budgetβs even on the table.
Hereβs how to go from pitch to implementation.Β
- π‘ Spot the real problem. Whatβs broken, burning cash, or just plain bringing down the team? Start there. This helps you put it into words what decision makers will care about.
- π Bring the receipts. Pull in data, feedback, and real examples that highlight the problem. Youβre not just pitching an idea β youβre proving the need.
- π Do the math (and the cleanup). Show what it costs, what it saves, and what it replaces. If it adds to the stack, make sure it earns its spot β because nobody needs three tools doing the same thing.
- π Treat it like a project, not a pitch. Lay out the rollout, timeline, and who's involved β because the fastest way to a βyesβ is showing youβve already thought three steps ahead. Kinda like this. π
π Need buy-in? Start here. Grab the New Vendor/Technology Case Process and make your case nearly impossible to ignore.

KNOCK KNOCK
Build a brand that opens doors
Personal branding isn't just for the internet famous. When done right, youβll find your people and your edge. Goldie Chan β public speakerand green-haired LinkedIn legend β breaks down what actually works (and whatβs just noise) when it comes to building a brand people trust and remember.β

What to learn from a personal branding masterclass:Β
- π Visuals get attention. Value keeps it. A signature look can help you stand out β but itβs what you say that makes people stick around. βYou can have something that gets you started, but always have substance to back it up.β
- π Consistency > virality. The best personal brands arenβt the flashiest β theyβre the ones that show up. βThe best personal brands are consistent β even when your role or industry changes.β
- π Own your platform. Social media is rented space β algorithms change, visibility fades. βOwn your own URL.β A simple site gives you control, credibility, and a home base thatβs actually yours.
- π§ Create for your future self. Play with trends to stay relevant, but ground your content in ideas youβll still stand behind next year. βCreate content that you want to come back to a year from now. Thatβs your audience.β

TRAINUAL TIPS & TIPS
These 3 training moments are more powerful with video
Some moments in training just stick better when theyβre delivered in video. Whether itβs the tone, the pacing, or simply seeing a real person explain something β video helps people connect the dots. In fact, video-based training improves knowledge retention by 25% β 60%.
But do you want to sit through hours of training videos? Hard pass. This isnβt a TED Talk marathon. Your team needs variety β and their attention spans demand it.
Thatβs why the best training breaks things up. A little video here, some text there, maybe a GIF to keep things fun, an interactive flowchart to map out processes step-by-step, a labeled image for context β mix and match to make training feel one-on-one (without showing up every time).

So where do videos (with just a bit of supporting text) make the most sense?Β
- Kick things off with context. A short intro video can set the tone, explain why the subject matters, and help your team feel welcomed into the topic before diving into the details.
- Pause for reflection. Drop in a video between topics to give learners a moment to think. Ask a few questions, reinforce key points, and help the info sink in before they move on. (Bonus points if you toss in a reflection quiz right after β they can even do it on camera, reality TV confessional-style.)
- Wrap it up with takeaways. Close things out with a recap video to celebrate progress and highlight the most important points β so your team walks away with confidence and clarity.

DEEP WORK
Find your flowΒ state at the office
You know those rare moments when time disappears, distractions fade, and you're in it? Thatβs the flow state β a sweet spot where challenge meets focus and work actually feels... good. But in a world of calendar invites, Slack pings, and lukewarm coffee, hitting flow at work can feel like finding Wi-Fi in a basement.

Hereβs how to make flow less of a fluke β and more of a habit:
- π§Β Hit play on our focus playlist. We made it just for you β built for heads-down days and packed with our favorite jams. Headphones on, distractions off, flow unlocked.
- π Flow doesnβt clock in at 9. You can try to compartmentalize, but stress leaks. Sleep, stress, hydration β it all follows you to your desk. When your lifeβs a mess, your focus is too.Β
- π§Ή Clear physical clutter. Β A clean workspace cues your brain that itβs time to dial in. Bonus points if your tools and training are alsoΒ organized. π
- πͺ Put up a βdo not disturbβ (just for a bit). Flow hates interruptions. Block off a chunk of your calendar as βfocus timeβ and defend it.Β
Flow doesnβt just feel good β it fuels deep work, faster problem-solving, and better results. Protect it like itβs part of your job. Because, honestly? It is.
