A lot of business advice online has phrases like “The most important part of growing a business…” or “The number one thing you need is…” And it’s a little misleading — because there are so many crucial things you need to consider when growing your business, not just one. For example, one of the most important: finding customers.
No customers, no business — end of story. And you don’t just need a good way to find customers, but a repeatable one.
👉 And to set yourself on the right path? You’ve got this Customer Acquisition Strategy Guide template, with essential steps and strategies to acquiring the right customers for your business.

THE NEVER-ENDING TO-DO LIST
Simplify your daily to-do’s with this hacking framework
You’ve probably heard the running-a-business vs. roller coaster comparison.
Both are high-speed rides with twists and turns, loop-de-loops, slow climbs, and steep drops that can leave you dizzy and disoriented. But that’s where the comparison ends — because a roller coaster ride lasts a couple of minutes. And your daily to-do list probably sends you on hundreds of thrill rides within the hour.
Want to simplify your to-do’s?
Allow us to introduce the Perpetual Action Items (PAIs) framework. Instead of viewing your to-do list as a bunch of items you need to check off, you need to reframe it as a collection of core tasks that will drive your business’ growth or sustained operational success.
So, instead of creating a task like “Train the new employee to company policies,” you’d view it as “Onboard new hires” — AKA, a critical area that’s important to your success.
Here’s how to develop your PAI list:
- Identify your business’ core trajectories. Ask yourself questions like “What tasks, if stopped today, would impact growth and survival?”
- Break down each PAI into actionable steps (bonus points if you document them in Trainual!).
- Set clear, measurable goals to determine your PAIs’ effectiveness.
Once you’ve identified and documented your PAIs, you can start implementing them into your daily routines — then, you can rest easy knowing that every critical task on your former to-do list is taken care of.
