ALL THE SMALL THINGS
As weird as it sounds…
…having a bangin’ product or service, an amazing team, and huge market potential is not actually enough to grow a successful business. In the words of Blink-182, it’s actually gonna be “all the small things.”
In fact, these three small changes (that you can start enforcing today) can really set you up for success down the road:
1. Organize your documentation.
Surprise, we’re not talking about your processes (at least, not yet). It’s your important emails, legal contracts, and financial statements — the type of documentation that you should always know the location of.
Get everything into a data room (AKA, a centralized filing system).
2. Keep your pitch deck updated and fresh.
A pitch deck isn’t just for potential investors — keeping it fresh with your current strategies and latest developments can help you visualize how your company is changing. It’s also a great resource for things like employee onboarding or brand guidelines.
🔥 Tip: Schedule your pitch deck updates monthly or quarterly.
3. Document your sales SOPs.
Find your best practices — the things that your best sales people are doing — and make them standard across your team. Start small, like with a FAQ sheet. It could mean the difference between thousands in sales versus millions.
