About Marissa

Hi there, I’m Marissa, a piano playing, yoga-loving-nature girl with a passion for connecting with people, exploring new opportunities, and challenging myself to be the best I can be. With a deep curiosity for the world around me, I aim high to max out my potential by pursuing various interests such as entrepreneurship, real estate, music, yoga, and writing.

In 2021, my short story The Artist and the Sheltering Tree was published in the international journal, Open Minds Quarterly. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to uncover all the possibilities life holds. After completing my Master’s degree in music, I worked as an adjunct music professor, a performing musician, and a private voice and piano teacher. As a single mother, I soon discovered this career choice was not well suited to me or my family’s needs and decided to explore an interest in real estate. I quickly fell in love with the industry and worked hard to build my reputation as a trusted and knowledgeable professional and eventually went onto become a licensed Realtor. Being around all those Realtor entrepreneurs ignited a fire in me to start my own real estate business through which I help other entrepreneurs build scalable and duplicatable systems, streamline their processes, and achieve their goals. I

t’s my mission to help them go from surviving to thriving while also remaining an active agent. Despite my busy schedule, I remain committed to my love of music and yoga making practice a priority. Outside of work, you can find me with various creative projects like painting, taking long nature walks and hiking on the beautiful trails of north central Alabama where I find inspiration for my work in the beauty of the world around me.

As a woman who values authenticity and connection, I bring my unique perspective to both my personal and professional life. I am a firm believer that being true to yourself and pursuing your passions leads to a creative, fulfilling, meaningful, and successful life.
