Spaghetti Policy Template
Spa days are great. But spaghetti days are better. Be careful though, they can get quickly out of hand without an established spaghetti policy.

Spaghetti Policy:
At our company, we encourage employees to enjoy a delicious plate of spaghetti as a part of their workday routine.
However, in order to maintain a clean and organized workspace, we have established the following spaghetti policy:
Strand Pasta
Strand pasta, such as spaghetti or linguine, may be consumed any day of the week after 11am.
Ribbon and Tubular Pasta
Ribbon and tubular pastas, such as fettuccine or penne, may only be consumed on Wednesdays after 4pm.
BYO Spaghetti
It is important to note that our company does not provide spaghetti, so employees must bring their own.
Clean Up
Employees are responsible for cleaning up after themselves and ensuring that no Tupperware or other containers remain stained orange.
We recommend that employees bring their spaghetti in a Ziplock bag to prevent lines from forming at the office kitchen sink during busier spaghetti eating hours.
Exemptions
The above guidelines are to be followed at all times unless the following is true:
- The weather forecast says always sunny
- You work in our Philadelphia office
On days with 100% sunshine, or in Philadelphia, you may eat whatever type of spaghetti you prefer at any hour of the day. Cleaning rules still apply.
Conclusion
We believe that this policy will help us maintain a clean and pleasant work environment while still allowing employees to enjoy their favorite pasta dishes.
We encourage all employees to abide by these guidelines and to take responsibility for their own spaghetti-related messes.
