Side Hustle Policy
Our Support of Side Hustles
At our company, we recognize that many of our employees have outside interests and passions, and we are committed to supporting them in pursuing those interests. We also understand that many employees engage in side hustles or other outside work, and we are committed to ensuring that these activities do not interfere with our employees' ability to fulfill their job responsibilities.
Side Hustle Guidelines
Our side hustle policy for full-time employees outlines our expectations for outside work and the steps we are taking to support our employees and ensure that their outside activities do not conflict with their job responsibilities.
Side hustle policy:
- Employees are allowed to engage in outside work or side hustles, provided that they do not interfere with their ability to fulfill their job responsibilities.
- Employees must disclose any outside work or side hustles to their manager or supervisor. This disclosure must include the nature of the work, the amount of time spent on the work, and any potential conflicts of interest.
- Employees are expected to prioritize their job responsibilities and to make sure that their outside work or side hustles do not interfere with their ability to perform their job duties.
- Employees are prohibited from using company resources, including equipment, supplies, and time, for their outside work or side hustles.
- Employees are prohibited from representing themselves as agents or representatives of our company in their outside work or side hustles, unless they have been specifically authorized to do so.
- Employees are prohibited from engaging in side hustle work mentioned in our noncompete agreement.
By following these guidelines, we can support our employees in pursuing their outside interests and passions, while also ensuring that their outside activities do not interfere with their job responsibilities.
