Why We Have a Noncompete Policy

A noncompete policy, also known as a noncompete agreement, is a contract between an employer and an employee that restricts the employee's ability to work for a competing company or start their own competing business.

We are committed to protecting our confidential information, trade secrets, and intellectual property, and to preventing the unauthorized use or disclosure of such information. This policy outlines the restrictions and obligations that apply to you in relation to noncompetition and nonsolicitation during and after your employment with us.

Our Noncompete Policy

By accepting this policy and entering into an employment relationship with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You will not engage in any activities or conduct that compete with our business, or that interfere with our business relationships, during the term of your employment with us.
  • You will not disclose or use any of our confidential information, trade secrets, or intellectual property, except as required or permitted in the course of your employment with us.
  • You will not solicit or encourage any of our employees, clients, or business partners to leave our employ or business, or to engage in any activities or conduct that compete with our business.
  • You will not engage in any activities or conduct that compete with our business, or that interfere with our business relationships, for a period of one year after the termination of your employment with us.
  • You will not disclose or use any of our confidential information, trade secrets, or intellectual property, for a period of one year after the termination of your employment with us.
  • You will not solicit or encourage any of our employees, clients, or business partners to leave our employ or business, or to engage in any activities or conduct that compete with our business, for a period of one year after the termination of your employment with us.
  • You will not work for a competing company or start your own competing business within 50 miles of our office.
  • These restrictions and obligations will continue to apply after the termination of your employment with us, regardless of the reason or circumstances of such termination.
  • We will have the right to seek injunctive relief and damages against you if you breach any of these restrictions or obligations.
  • These restrictions and obligations will be interpreted and enforced in a manner that is reasonable and that is consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
