Why We Have a No-smoking Policy

Our company values the health and well-being of our employees, and we are committed to providing a healthy and safe work environment for everyone. As such, we have implemented a non-smoking policy.

We believe that implementing a no-smoking policy is an important part of creating a healthy and safe work environment, and we ask that all employees respect and comply with this policy.

Where You CAN’T Smoke

Under this policy, smoking is not permitted on company property at any time. This includes all buildings, vehicles, and outdoor areas that are owned or leased by the company.

If you are working out in the field, you may not smoke at the field site. You may not smoke in or around customer property.

This policy includes (but is not limited to) cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and other tobacco products.

Where You CAN Smoke

Employees who wish to smoke must do so off company property and off customer property, and they must also take appropriate measures to prevent the smell of smoke from lingering on their clothing or belongings.

If you need to smoke while out in the field, you may do so in a personal vehicle at least 100 yards away from customer property and the area where the team is working.

We understand that quitting smoking can be difficult, and we are happy to provide resources and support to employees who are interested in quitting. This may include access to smoking cessation programs or information on local support groups.
