This SOP outlines the steps for contributing a guest post to a business partner's blog.

Guest Posting Procedure

By following this procedure, we can ensure that our guest posts are well-written, engaging, and in line with our business partners’ blogs and our own brand guidelines.

  1. Identify which business partner’s blog aligns with our organization's target audience and area of expertise.
  2. Determine the purpose and goals of the guest post, such as increasing brand awareness, driving traffic to the organization's website, or establishing thought leadership.
  3. Review the business partner's blog and guidelines for guest posting to ensure that the post will be a good fit.
  4. Develop a topic and title for the guest post that will be interesting, relevant, and engaging for the blog's audience.
  5. Write the guest post, following the business partner's guidelines for style, tone, and length.
  6. Include a call to action or other relevant information about our business in the guest post, such as a link to our website or a mention of a relevant product or service.
  7. Submit the guest post to the business partner for review and approval, following their specified process and timeline.
  8. Once the guest post has been published, promote it on our social media and other platforms, encouraging followers to read and share the post.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the results of the guest post, including metrics such as views, engagement, and conversions.
