Why Don’t We Have a Free Plan?
Simple. There are plenty of free options available to do the work of documenting your processes. Before Trainual, we used Google Docs, Evernote, Google Sites, Microsoft Word and Pages. Those are great places to start.
What Am I Paying For?
The right customer for Trainual doesn’t just want to document. They want to organize, train, track, and test.
With other systems, you might create sets of folders to organize your content. With Trainual, you tag each individual policy or process with a role or department in your company, so you can instantly see who needs to know what.

Why Don’t We Charge Per User?
If we charged per user, you might try to hack the model by sharing logins. That defeats the benefit of Trainual; individual accountability. So, we use tiered pricing that is appropriate for organizations of different sizes.
Why Is It a Subscription Cost?
Your systems and processes are a living, breathing thing within your business. So, training isn’t a one-time occurrence, but a consistent pulse of being able to access material when it’s needed, and update material when it changes. A subscription fee most closely matches the utility of the product.
Why Is It Month To Month?
You can pay annually, but we’ll never force you to. Investors and financial analysts want to see long term contracts to measure the stability of a business. But we measure this through engagement. If you aren’t constantly using the product, you have every right to put us on hold, or cancel.
Is the Cost Worth It?
That’s up to you to decide. If we try to convince you it’s worth it, and it genuinely isn’t for your particular situation, you might be upset with us later. But for customers that sign up and use the product, the cost is insignificant compared to the value it provides.
Think of any cost in your business as an investment. If you didn’t expect the value you receive from something to be greater than the cash you spend on it, why buy? Great question.
